Leading bowel charity, Bowel and Cancer Research have created a new identity to cement its commitment to research on bowel cancer and other crippling, incurable bowel disorders such as ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s Disease and Irritable Bowel Syndrome.

The new blue and pink logo has been designed to be a visual representation of their work in the field of research. Chief Executive of Bowel & Cancer Research, Deborah Gilbert, said: “Our charity supports the finest research across the UK into bowel cancer and other bowel diseases by funding the brightest ideas and best talent. We have a rich history of research excellence and have developed the new visual identity to reflect this”

Bowel Cancer & Research worked in collaboration with Nick Kohn of Beyond Aspiration to develop the new logo and comprehensive brand strategy.

“Beyond Aspiration proved invaluable in developing the brand strategic approach and campaign, working closely with our team, Minimart advertising agency and East of Eden charity campaign agency.

“Our new brand logo and campaign initiatives have been developed to focus on our special  position as a modern scientifically-rooted and socially-inclusive charity, funding innovative solutions for bowel cancer and other bowel diseases.”

The logo was officially launched in the charity’s current campaign ‘I’ve Got Guts’, which aims to help bust the taboo of bowel disorders and shine a light on the courage of people who live with them through a range of branded t-shirts. Money raised from the sales of t-shirts will fund the latest research to improve the diagnosis of bowel diseases.
